(吉隆坡)国民大学社会人类学教授拿督三苏安里表示,阿拉字眼的爭议不只应从法律和神的角度谨慎处理,也应考量到社会学的层面,此课题需要谨慎处理,否则將为种族关係和国家安寧带来巨大影响。

他说,一些人士在未经深入瞭解课题时针对阿拉字眼高调发表意见,只会使情况变得更加混乱。

他表示,要解决这起事件很大程度上有赖於所有人士如何以理智方式表达意见。

为了从社会歷史角度解释此课题,三苏安里援引联邦宪法160条款,即此条款阐明马来人是“一名信奉回教的信徒,通常是讲马来文和遵守马来习俗。”

“根据上述註释和其他宪法条款如3和11(4)条款阐明,自国家独立,无论是中央或州政府已执政、计划和实行各种政策,和提到各种马来回教徒的生活。”

回教相关课题最敏感

他说,在一名马来回教徒的生活里,阿拉字眼代表著一切,包括日常生活中的信仰、规则和价值。

他表示,社会学研究证实,大马马来人最敏感的课题是与回教相关,因为他们认定“回教是属於他们的”和“社会专有”,这是不能被质疑的。

“所以,马来回教徒认为阿拉是属於他们的,和只有他们知道和有权討论阿拉的事宜。他们生下来就是回教徒,生为回教徒,死也是回教徒……这是在大马的社会歷史实况。”

成政治象徵更加复杂

他说,当回教成为政治象徵和意识形態,马来回教徒的社会生活实况变得更加复杂。

“比如说,很多马来回教徒不能分辨巴勒斯坦的斗爭是爱国斗爭而非为回教斗爭,因为並非所有巴勒斯坦人是回教徒。”

他说,这种情况也说明了为何当马来西亚天主教吉隆坡总教区马来文版週报《先锋报》允许使用“阿拉”字眼,会引起马来回教徒群体的负面反应。

他也说,根据联邦宪法11(4)条款,非回教徒使用阿拉字眼向回教徒宣教是错误行为,但是回教徒使用阿拉字眼向非回教徒宣教,则不是错误行为。
