At the End of Daybreak (Movie)

I saluted because it tempted me to watch. Why the temptation can't resist? The temptation is strong because this movie is a local Malaysian movie and able to win numerous awards overseas. My impression is "whooah, it should be a worthwhile movie"

"Xin Mo" literally means the devil of heart. It is actually the urge or temptation within a person. The movie tried to portray social phenomenons which prominent in this modern era. Rape, Murder, Premarital sex, Lie and others are happens frequently nowadays. Is the moral value deteriorating? Everyone of us regardless of age, race or religion, have the tendency to commit a sin.

It is a pretty philosophical movie, as I presumed. My initial judgment of the movie was it was a waste of my time and money. However, it also boosted my curiosity to discover the hidden meaning of this movie. I believe that movie is not just entertainment, but educational.

Our defense mechanism is denial. Deny what we had done wrong, or deny what is out of our expectation. We cant afford to believe we can commit a sin, or we choose not to believe our close kin or friends might do wrongly too.

Moral value is not theoretical, it supposes to be practical. However, any absolute could become non-absolute after we twisted the argument that side our position. We can argue, but we also should set a rule to follow. Make an absolute within us that make peace and love to the people in community.

Again, think out of the box, is a way for me to deal with philosophy

Full stop is not a Stop

My study has come to the full stop. After the submission of my final year project, I thought I will be delighted, yet I wasn't. I was apathetic. No more motivation to complete it, I already forgotten my achievement goals, I have given up. During the phase of life, I felt Life is just ain't about perfection. Imperfection in life is the essence of our growth. In order to grow, old proverb saying "no pain, no gain", it indeed applies to everyone of us. Being through thick and thin, sweat and tears, I started to realise that adaptation to sudden change is incredibly important. For instance, we have a goal to get a First Class Honour in our degree program, but our result speaks no to us. Is it show that we are stupid? Nope, it only tells us that it is a piece of paper which might granted us to obtain better job, yet which class you get is not the guarantee to get a better job. The end of college life, is the start of _______ life. People will fill in the blank themselves....

Look Out Point, Ampang

To see Kuala Lumpur nightview, familiar people will tell you to go Look Out Point, Ampang. Cold breeze on your face, indeed refreshing your mind of a day, in provided that the surrounding is quiet. Look out the view from the tower, numerous of yellow lights like stars shining on you. The most attractive point will be KLCC. A romantic place to be, for couples. Please bring a camera, if not the view can't really be seen (like my photo above). It is best to calm yourself down, by looking at the night view. The surrounding is dim, and you could just be yourselves, without bothering anyone around you. The first time, I came with a down feeling, thus I felt better to do the same. There is few restaurants there. We tried Bread and Olives, as recommanded by my friends. The drink was so-so. The hot chocolate like milo, and the nescafe also like milo. Hot drink is not hot enough. Haha. But, most important thing is to get yourself a good seating to enjoy the night view. We ordered this. Thin ...
