Life in Plymouth - University of Plymouth (latest update on 27-10-10)

She chose University of Plymouth, an university that Malaysians are not really know about. It is an enterprise and modern university, which focuses more on practicality instead of theorization. At first, she was reluctant, because she fonded some even more famous universities such Edinburgh or Manchester. After checking British Psychological Society (BPS) website, she discovered that the famous universities that she interested in, did not offer what she wanted. Advice was given by her agent, Gen Education. She needed to complete 1 year master study in psychology, before continuing 3 years professional studies in specialized field, which she will be granted herself to be a charted psychologist. It is a big dream, and she hope she could achieve it one day. University of Plymouth is at the heart of city centre of Plymouth. Cooking has became her interest. Apart from surviving from hunger, she enjoyed cooking and photo shooting her meal. Received compliment from family and friends, she is motivated to create different dishes if possible. She loves all her meals :) Tom Yam Fried Rice with Prawn and Ham Ingredient Garlic (sliced), Onion (wedged) Carrot, capsicum, lettuce, ham (slided) Chilies padi (chopped fine) Button mushroom (slided) Prawn White Rice Seasoning/sauce Tom Yam Paste, Soy Sauce, Ground Black Pepper Fry garlic and onion till the aroma is release, added in all the ingredients. Added in white rice and seasoning. Fry till balance and fine. Chicken with Lemon Chili Sauce Ingredient Garlic (sliced), onion (wedged) Capsicum, button mushroom (chopped fine) Chicken fillet Seasoning/sauce Lemon Chili Sauce, black pepper Aroma garlic and onion, fry chicken and put in capsicum and button mushroom for stir fry. Adaptation to a new study environment is an on-going process. This is the reason that she delayed posting for a week. She created a new post because the previous post is flooded with numerous of meals, which could cause difficulty of reading or repetition of reading same things. Her interest in cooking, finally become practical. She enjoys cooking and loves trying new dishes if requires simple ingredients only. She browsed through recipe online, and she was attracted to the wrapped egg . She innovated it, and the result turned out to be positive. A. Firstly, She boiled cubes of potatoes. She had to fragrant onion and garlic. Cubes of hot dogs and potatoes were fried and little bit of pepper and salt for taste. (put on the plate). B. She beat and spread the eggs, pour in A and capsicum. Stir it balanced and add in some pepper and salt. She fried the eggs on pan with butter. Ready to serve on plate. Updated on 19-9-10, 4.30am Looking at the price and choices of foods, she decided to cook every meals for herself. Firstly, the food is expensive. 1 pound spending equal to 5 ringgit spending. She really hesitated to spend, and she has the aim to save. Looking at different types of chocolate, it is indeed torturing not to buy. She loves them, but she suppresses temptation. She can't eat chocolate partially she doesn't want to gain on weight anymore. The first night in Plymouth, she got herself a pack of spicy chicken slice, costed 2.49 pound. She afraid she has nothing to eat, buying it to ensure she has it for dinner. It tasted well, and quite filling. At least worth her 2.49pound, which is RM12.45. It is still expensive for her, but she got no another choices. At 11.45pm on 14th September 2010, her sister's friend came to find her. They brought her to Tesco Express which operates for 24 hours.
